Auto printing filter matches
« on: 28 Apr 2013, 06:12:28 »
Morning,

I was just wondering how easy it would be to change PDW so it could automatically send any filter matches to the printer for printing? Would work nicely with a small receipt type printer, or maybe configure a printer port so that an interface could be made to enable it to be a pocsag switch for switching things on and off?

PDW can trigger any other program through the command line. This way, you can trigger a dedicated printing program. Did you already look into that direction?

That's a very good point, I'd completely forgotten about the command line option. I'll look into it and let you know how I get on. Thank you for the idea.
