UBC69XLT-2
« on: 25 Jul 2013, 13:40:45 »
Hi,
I'm a new member and first I'll introduce myself.
My Name is Michael and I live in northern Germany. I have a own antenna and I feed data up to COAA and a Mooring Company. Signals are processed by a NASA MARINE dedicated singlechannel receiver. The tabletop PC is processing data by ShipPlotter. Furthermore I use commonly a dualchannel receiver from Digital Yacht in my car when I'm underway. Since this is out of order, I'm forced to try a UBC69XLT-2 with a disc. output soldered as René discribed.
Now my question:
The siglals come correctly between the ring and the shield. But my tabletop can process these only at the <line in>, not at the <micro in>. As the netbook used in the car doesn't have a <line in>, the SP on the netbooks can't process audiodata.
Is there out somebody who can give me an advice?

Regards
Michael

Can't you use the microphone input of your netbook?

Yes. I tried to use the <phone in>, but no Signal.
So it's a PC hardware, Windows or Shipplotter issue.
