Bring PDW Window to front
« on: 11 Apr 2014, 15:47:43 »
A suggestion that I have is that there is an option to bring the PDW to the "top" and possibly maximise it also.  I use PDW at the moment for monitoring a relatively quiet set of pagers but I always switch over to the window once I hear something coming in.

I am investigating using something like CMDOW to control the window through the command line option but this only works on filtered messages and requires installing separate software.  It is an option that could be added as an option for  filtered and unfiltered messages.

Would be interested to see if anyone else thinks this might be a good idea?  :D

Would this free Always on top utility help you?

Thanks Rene.  Nope, afraid not.  I don't want it on top all the time, I just want it to bring itself to the top when a page is received but stay in the background until then.

I actually have CMDOW doing what I need (using C:\Program Files\cmdow.exe " PDW v3.12" /ACT) but I need to use filters to trigger it and I thought it would be nice to do this without a third-part application but rather get the PDW application to do it from within itself.
