Naming .wav audio files and Windows naming conventions
«

Hello All,
I am trying to use the Capcode-"text" feature for naming my files but the characters I am searching for are not allowed in Windows naming conventions, any suggestions?
I am trying to search for text string: "ABC:*XYZ" but the characters : and * are not allowed. The filename would be 1234567-ABC:*XYZ.wav. Do I just use blank or _ underscore or something similar?
regards
gc

Hi gc,
As the characters are not supported by windows filename, I would think you would have to use supported characters only. Seems a bit obvious - am I missing something in your question?
Cheers
