SNPP Integration

Hello Folks,
I was wondering if anybody has considered adding SNPP to PDW now that it is Open Source. The SMTP output is nice, but there are many SNPP providers out there that are a little more reliable then old school SMTP. Unfortunately, I don't have the skill to code this in myself but I wanted to see if anyone else had the same idea or if it is something that could be easily added.
