I'm new here but not new to AIS.

My main reason for being here is that I want to see if there are any interest in a small project.
I have on and off been working on a SW AIS decoder.
And I have made a decoder that work on different VHF radios using the normal audio output. (and yes it's better if you use a discriminator output). But it's better on a audio signal than AISmon is on a discriminator signal.

But there are some problems: The lowpass filter there are on the audio signal are different for model to model so the decoder needs to be "trimmed" for each.
