PDW crashes after weeks of reading.
« on: 22 Apr 2018, 19:47:55 »
Have 3 running setup with PDW 3.12 on Windows 7 machines.
I´m using SDR connected to the USB port and using a software audiosplitter.

The problem that I have is that after a while the logging starts to read bad in PDW.
Problem occurs random from 1 days upp to 12 weeks.
Only thing that I have to do is to restart PDW and it works fine for some weeks again.

(Before the program crash, I have allways good reading, but after the crash the reading goes down to about 20%.
I normally have 100% reading, but I also read some far away transmitter and because of this transmitters I could sometimes have about 95%.)

I have this problem on all of my machines.
Is there anyone out there, that know something about this problems?

Hi,
Not specifically as you have an unusual setup I think.

But I have had problems with crashing on my PC with 4xPDW instances running on XP if they run for more than a day or two. I have fixed this by doing an automatic PC restart once a day.
Cheers
