PDW email

Hi,
I am running PDW 3.2b01 and can't get the filter email working.
I have BT email with SSL.  I have set all the settings as per my BT email account, have ticked SSL, Port 465
For SMTP host: mail.btinternet.com
To: my own email address
From: my own email address

I've ticked Enable authentication and have the Username as my BT username@btinternet.com and my BT email account password.

When I try Test, I get:

HELO 117.0.0.1
220 re-prd-rgout ....ESMTP service ready
AUTH LOGIN
220 re-prd-rgout....
A random string of characters starting V2VvZ....
501 AUTH command unavailable

I've tried tweaking a lot, but keep getting this message.
Any suggestions.

117.0.0.1 is not the IP address for mail.btinternet.com.

Are you sure it's not 127.0.0.1 (localhost)?

Yes, you're right, it is 127 - I have it correct in the PDW set up, just typed it wrong in my post!
